Fireball Nationals 2013 SHSC Report

2 SHSC fireballs were represented at the Fireball Nationals at Looe Sailing Club
A week of great waves and sunshine greeted competitors at one of the best championship venues in the uk. 
Simon Foskett was crewing for Matt Rainback in the association 'Fleet Boat' reviving their 420 partnership to take 6th place overall topped off by winning the last race.
Peter Gray and Tim Saunders were a few places further back in 9th. Peter winning the coveted yellow jersey are being propelled in to a visiting frenchmans lounge!
Both teams plus Andy and Lesley Foskett will be taking part in the World Championships to be held in Portoroz, Slovenia this September. 
2014 sees the class visiting Thailand for the World Championships, Shetland for the Europeans and Tenby for the Nationals. 
2015 will be the UKs turn to host the Fireball Worlds at Pwllheli on the North Wales coast.
