Grahame Newton aka social sec…… I’m the one at the back trying to look serious, they call me ‘Gandhi’ because of my healthy naturally tanned complexion !! I’ve been sailing since ‘Adam woz a lad’ so about 40yrs now phew !! sailed everything pretty much, but mainly Laser’s, Int 14 and Fireballs and most Sunday’s you’ll find me at the back of 14966 with Mark. I’ve been a member of SHSC since the start so I tend to know most if not all and I think most know me or at least have ‘heard’ me as I’m not known for keeping quiet which is why I landed the job of social sec.
