The first special event of the year was held on Easter Monday 9th April. As a season’s warm-up the weather hadn’t read the script; it was cold and wet. 15 hardy boats entered the second running of the equaliser.
The ‘delayed’ annual SHSC Fireball open took place over the weekend of the 24th & 25th March and competitors could not have wished for a better weekend.
Staunton Harold Sailing Club celebrated last weekend, having secured £50,000 of Olympic legacy funding from Sport England’s Inspired Facilities Fund.
