Staunton Harold Sailing Club is one of the 5 finalists for the RYA 2012 Club of the Year
The good news just keeps coming.
We are delighted to announce that the RYA has chosen our club as
one of the 5 finalists of the Club of the Year Award 2012. The
award, and the announcement of the overall winner will be made at
the Dinghy Show at 16.45 on March 3rd so clear your calenders and
come along to cheer on our great club.
The message to us all from the RYA is:
"Well done on achieving this prestigious award. The continued
success of our sport is reliant upon clubs such as Staunton Harold
Sailing Club maintaining these high standards and continuing to
demonstrate best practice. I wish your club continued success for
the 2012 season and beyond"
We should not be shy about giving ourselves a big slap on the back
for this...it is an excellent achievement and speaks volumes for
the culture and character of the club and the work done by the
committee, the members and the miriad of volunteers at its
heart.
The Five finalists will gather at the Dinghy Show at Alexandra Palace on the 3rd of March for the announcement of the overall winner and to collect the awards
