Staunton Harold Sailing Club wins the Community Sport and Recreation Green Award 2012!

Staunton Harold Sailing Club has been chosen as the winner of the Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2012 in the Green Thinking category! The club was one of three chosen by the RYA to represent sailing clubs in these annual awards which are open to all sports and recreational clubs throughout the UK, so it is a significant achievement for the club.

As Hannah Jones and Cora Kenmuir-Hogg played the major role in the club gaining a Volvo Eco Challenge Awards in the last 2 years, they will be presented with the award by His Royal Highness, The Earl of Wessex at St James's Palace on Thursday 19 July 2012.
