It is recommended that those instructing, coaching or closely
involved in the supervision of young people should complete a CRB
check in line with RYA guidance. This does not apply to under
18s in this role.
Forms can be obtained from the Child Welfare Officer and the CRB
check will be undertaken free of charge for those volunteering
their services at the Club.
Unfortunately CRB checks obtained elsewhere are not transferable
to this role.
A copy of the SHSC Child Protection Policy is available on the
official notice board in the Clubhouse.
